Flying Instructor

Main Duties
- In charge of the daily operation, administration and management of the Scout Flying Academy;
- Plan for the development of the Academy and provide recommendations on related activities and projects across the Association;
- Plan, organise and deliver aviation programmes and training;
- Ensure the effective management and maintenance of flight simulators and other facilities;
- Manage resources allocation and utilisation, including flight simulator booking arrangements;
- Conduct evaluation and assessment for aviation programmes and training;
- Participate in relevant committees and meetings as required.
Requirements
- A degree from a reputable university, preferably in aviation studies, or equivalent;
- Holder of the Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) and Instructor Rating recognised by member states of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO);
- Qualification in approved flight simulation standards recognised by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), or equivalent authorities;
- Extensive experience in aviation training with familiarity in aviation planning and evaluation;
- Good understanding of general aviation industry;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
- Strong leadership and organisational skills;
- Well-organised, detail-oriented and highly responsible;
- Mature, self-motivated and able to work independently under pressure;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
